Great Lakes Nexus was established to bridge the gap between the United States Government, the State of Michigan, local governing bodies, and the marketplace for procuring goods and services. We specialize in commercial janitorial and residential cleaning, and our consulting services focus on the procurement of goods and services. Our mission is to create synergy between buyers, service providers, and contractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and successful outcomes.

I have over 30 years of customer service experience and sales experience. I worked in the culinary industry at multiple positions; server, cook, manager, for the bulk of my journey. In 2020, I knew it was time for a change. Carter Cleanup LLC was formed in 2021 as a commercial and residential cleaning company serving Kent County, MI. We launched GLN in 2024 to subcontract janitorial services to government agencies, but it has taken on a life of its own. I’m currently studying business management at Grand Rapids Community College, graduating in 2025. I am a dedicated father and husband of 9 years.
What We Do
GLN provides general bid consulting services as an intermediary. We find solicitations from government, state, and city departments, locate the providers for goods or services needed, and place bids based on the capabilities of the contractor or service provider. If we win the bid, GLN will serve as the payee between the agency and the contractor/service provider.
